  • Welcome to our Department Page!

Anyone can learn math if they have the right mindset! Besides mathematical skills, all of our courses will help you learn to organize, think critically, make decisions and use technology. You will not only use math in our classes but in science, finance, decision-making, technology & more. Math is a universal language and we cannot function in the world without it.
Here at SJB we have math courses for everyone from regents level Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra II to AP Calculus and AP Statistics.  We offer two additional Calculus classes including Calculus I in which students will learn all of Calculus I throughout the school year and have the opportunity to receive 3 college credits through Molloy College, and Calculus I and II which is offered for 8 St. John's University credits.  College Algebra, and Precalculus are also offered for 3 Molloy College credits.  We are also proud to offer hands-on personal and business finance classes as electives!

In addition to Math courses our department has a vast variety of Computer Science classes including Graphic Art, Digital Media, Web Design, Introduction to Programming, AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles.
