ParentSquare (PSQ) - the new hub for all St. John the Baptist communications.
Going forward, all SJB messages, announcements, and notifications will be shared exclusively through the ParentSquare system.

ParentSquare allows you to choose how and when you receive communications. You may receive messages via text message, email, or both. You can also choose to receive posts as they are published or as a single daily summary email delivered at the end of the day.

What is ParentSquare?
ParentSquare is a unified communication platform that connects students and parents with SJB administration, staff, and faculty in one convenient place. It delivers messages through email, text, and voice recordings—translated into more than 100 languages—and is accessible online 24/7. You can choose how and when to receive SJB notifications, either instantly or in a daily digest, and select your preferred delivery method: email, text, or both.

Is there an App for ParentSquare?
Yes, there is an app, and we strongly encourage all parents to download it. You will continue to receive all SJB communications even if you choose not to install the app; however, the app conveniently organizes all messages in one easy-to-use platform. Do I still need Parent Portals?
Parent Portals will remain and will be your source for student grades, attendance, schedule and disciplinary information.  As of February 23 2026, all SJB communications will be sent and posted on ParentSquare and will no longer be sent via Parent Portal.  Communications that are posted to Parent Portal prior to February 23 will remain in place until the end of the 2025-2026 School Year.

What else can I do on ParentSquare?

• Message Teachers - As we bring our faculty on board with ParentSquare, you will be able to direct message teacher through the ParentSquare App.  
• Sign ups, Form, Appointments, RSVP – ParentSquare provides the ability for parents and student to sign up or RSVP for events.  We will also use ParentSquare to schedule for Parent Teacher Conferences for the 2026-27 school year.

How do I set up my ParentSquare account?
Invitation emails to join ParentSquare have already been sent out starting 2/2/26 to the primary email addresses we have on file for each parent or guardian.  Please refer to those emails for account activation instructions.  
If you are unable to locate the ParentSquare Account Activation email, please try the following:

• Click on link: https://www.parentsquare.com/signin 
• Click on the “Forgot password” link
• Enter the email address on file with SJB (where you receive SJB Communications)
• A reset email will be sent out allowing you to set your password.
• Once you login, you will need to verify your email & phone number.
